

Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program:
provides employment training services, job referrals, careercounseling, outreach, education assistance, development of resumes, work experience placement, on the job training,support services and on-going case management to American Indian Clients.
Family Services:
Offers crisis intervention and case management for eldersand families. An extensive information and referral network isused to assist those in need of comprehensive services.
Food Bank:
Serves all persons living in the 99202 zip code, as well as American Indians. Hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 4:30pm, Tuesdays from
1pm to 4:30pm. Closed from 12pm to 1pm. Resource center: Helps clients with basic needs, such as, household goods, clothing and furniture. This service is solely supported by community donations.
Education:
Includes adult basic education, JRA, GED classes, education clinic re-entry to high school (ages 13-19), college and financial aid counseling, referral to training and pre-employment. CJAA/JRA: Coordination of services for Native American youth in conjunction with the juvenile court system and local service providers.
Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP)with wrap around childcare:
A pre-school program for four year old children who meet low income guidelines. This program provides a safe, healthy and caring environment.Themain goalis to enhance physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and cultural growth for the children. Wrap around licensed childcare is also provided.Free meals and snacks are provided daily.
Protective Payee:
Designed for people receiving GAU (General Assistance unemployable) or SSI checks, training in money management and financial counseling are the cornerstones of this program.
Indian Child Welfare:
Provides youth and family advocacy to meet the specialized needs of American Indian Children and their families. Assists with personal and life skills by having classes, meetings, social interactions, supervised visitation, and home visits.
Senior Nutrition:
Serves hot meals to seniors 55 and older on Monday through Friday at 12noon. Other activities for the elders are outings, arts and crafts, parties, speakers and exercise classes. Works closely with Elderly Services, Social Security, Chore Services, and Spokane Urban and Community Health Services to provide comprehensive services.
